AWS Community Day
- One minute read - 211 words. On September 24, the AWS Community Day was held at Kinepolis, located near the Jaarbeurs in Utrecht. Xebia sponsored the event, so Thomas Wijntjes and Ronnie Bagan were defending the stand throughout the day.
Next to the stand, we also had three speakers. Katerina Tashoska explored how to build scalable and efficient data ingestion platforms. The goal was to set the audience up for success by giving them actionable insights on the topic. Jochem Kleine showed off his role-playing game generated using large language models to build and scale the game on AWS. Setting his game up for success! I was also one of the speakers, and in my session, I shared my learnings so far on AgentCore, the service that is still in preview to run agentic workloads on AWS.
Next to the stand and the three speakers, Jochem and I were also part of the Crew, helping out in the rooms and announcing the next speakers. We had various colleagues walking around and visiting the sessions. So Xebia was well represented during the AWS Community Day, and speaking for myself. I had a lot of fun and learned some new things that day, and I am sure that all the others learned new things and had fun as well.
